Federal Bill C-9, introducing the Canada Emergency Rent Grant
("CERG" below) has received Royal Assent. The CUCL had been announced on October 9, 2020 and
is intended to replace the former Canada Emergency Commercial Rental Assistance (CECRA) program for small businesses.

The federal government has also expanded the Canadian Business Emergency Account ("CBEA" below) by $40,000, making a new interest-free loan of up to $20,000 available to eligible organizations.

The federal government has also announced a new measure to help agricultural businesses;

On the provincial side, the Quebec government has announced aid measures for tourism and relief from penalties for late production;
