On 19 April 2021, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland presented Budget 2021: A Recovery Focused on Jobs, Growth and Resilience. Following on from the highlights we published earlier this week, below are more details of the measures announced.

The budget proposes to extend business and income support measures until the autumn and includes investments to create jobs. It also aims to combat climate change and support small and medium-sized businesses through a number of transformation programmes.

This bulletin presents the main tax measures announced in the Budget*.
