Repayment of loans under the Canadian Business Emergency Account (CBEA) program
On 14 September 2023, the federal government announced the extension of the deadline for repayment of loans under the Canadian Business Emergency Account (CBEA) programme from 31 December 2023 to 18 January 2024.
This change has been made to allow greater flexibility for businesses wishing to repay their loan at a time when the festive period is a busy time for many businesses.
