Adoption of Act No. 2 concerning certain measures in response to COVID-19

Yesterday, the federal government passed Loi nº2 concernant certaines mesures en réponse à la COVID-19.
This law mainly concerns the 75% emergency wage subsidy (hereinafter "SSUC").
Many of the details contained in the legislative text had already been made public in the last few days. We have decided to present this newsletter in two parts. First, we will present the new features of the legislation and reiterate some of the key points concerning the SSUC.
We will then repeat our previous publication on the SSUC, including the latest updates.
Finally, please note that the Act does not add anything regarding the Canada Emergency Benefit
(hereinafter "CEP").
