Dear Madam,

Dear Sir

On 11 June, the Quebec government launched a Tourism Recovery Plan to help businesses through the crisis, announcing the following support measures:

- Creation of an emergency component for tourism businesses as part of the $446 million Programme d'action concertée temporaire pour les entreprises (PACTE).

- Addition of a $200 million component to the Programme d'appui au développement des attraits touristiques (PADAT) (Support programme for the development of tourist attractions)

- Enhanced regional tourism partnership agreements totalling $25 million

- Payment of an estimated $13.8 million in subsidies to hotels and B&Bs

This plan, worth over 750 million dollars, is also designed to support the development of supply and stimulate demand. In so doing, it will generate economic spin-offs in every region of Quebec.

Finally, we present some of the features of the financial assistance that will be available through the Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs).
